ITEM #61CARTCONN: PARKER 61 CARTRIDGE PEN CONNECTOR . This won't turn your capillary 61 into a cartridge 61. The threads won't work in a way to let you do that. I'll say that again; this won't turn your capillary 61 into a cartridge 61. The front shell threads will fit but the rear barrel threads won't fit. It's intended to replace a broken or missing connector out of a cartridge 61 (only). This is an original Parker repair part. Includes cartridge puncture tube. I got these from the guy that ordered them from Parker.

ITEM #HANGING PRES BAR - 3 SIZES: HANGING 3 PIECE PRESSURE BAR FOR PARKER BUTTON FILLERS. These are reproductions of all three sizes of Parker's hanging pressure bars for its button fillers. The sizes of pressure bars that a given size of pen uses overlaps a great deal. The medium size fits a wide range of fountain pen sizes from Duofold Seniors to small sized Challengers and it was the only size supplied to Parker's repair people in the end. See the second photo below; the numbers on the pens indicate the volume of ink taken in by the pen shown with the medium pressure bar in it. All these are quite riteous volumes of ink for the given pen.

For these pressure bars to work, you'll need to be able to pass a No. 12 drill through the hole in the top of the barrel to clean it out and adjust for any shrinkage and crud build up that has occurred over the ages (I find this to be required even when re-using an original Parker 3 piece pressure bar). This type of pressure bar frequently results in less force being required when pushing the fill button down, which greatly alleviates the chances of an accident with an open ink bottle. The drill shown at the bottom of the photo is a no. 12 and is shown as the next item in these listings. These bars won't work in Pastels; there's not enough diameter under the barrel collar for a 3 piece pressure bar to expand in a Pastel.

The sizes are shown in the first photo below, and as pointed out above, there is quite an overlap in the sizes that will fit a given size pen. Just try to get the length from the top of the button to the section of the pen and don't exceed it with the pressure bar length.

ITEM #VP SNOUT: PARKER VP ACRYLIC FILLING UNIT FRONT END. This is a left over original Parker factory part. Parker's idea when designing the filling unit that this is the most critical part of was to keep the front end of your pen and your fingers clean while filling your pen, similar to the idea behind Sheaffer's Snorkel. You were supposed to pull the filling unit out of the pen and fill it by dipping the narrow end of this snout into the ink bottle while pumping the Aerometric type filling unit pressure bar. This didn't work well because the acrylic snout would frequently break during the above operation. If you have a VP that is leaking in front, chances are good that there is a very tiny crack in this part. This wasn't intended to be a user changed part, but if you're careful, you can get the old unit apart, put a sac on this snout, re-assemble the filling unit, and be good to go. If you remind me, I'll include a new tapered PVC sac.
